SICK PUPPIES COME PORTUGAL PLEASE :S
when i first heard this song i was singing to it and loving it i didnt know what it meant i just found out!! its amazing but really sad the parents or the father is SICK!! .. i wonder who is howard
think he’s describing the troubles of a homosexual teen.
When he says “16 and the woman down the street has invited him to come inside. It was the first time It didn’t feel right. It’ll be the last time he tries.” Meaning the kid had sex with a woman and it didn’t feel right.
And the last verse when he approaches the boy at school, the boy stares at him too, he needs closure, he needs to find out for sure if he is actually homosexual.
i am f*cking obsessed with this song :O please help me!!
This song is amazing.
This song’s fantastic, and haunting! It’s like Korn – Daddy in so many disturbing senses (Y) *faves*
i love sick puppies <3 they’re awesome!!!
Anyone know the tuning on bass for this song?
dressed up as life but good vid
in the end it says he walks over to a little boy so its the cycle of sexual abuse
I’m fairly sure it chronicles the life of the abused. By the end, he needs closure: Hence, a complete link. The vicious circles etc.
and in the end he confronts the kid to give him closure b/c if someone would of just asked him whats wrong when he was a kid he wouldnt of turned out the way he did so i think he’s trying to help the kid at the end… not committing suicide
So i’ve been listening to this song all day trying to figure out some of the subtleties…and I think, from a story-writer’s point of view…this song is pretty incredible…It seems to me that he has wrtten a song in which a person who has been sexually abused is recounting the story of his abuser to try and deal with the situation, which explains the point-of view shifts every chorus…idk…i could be totally wrong but it would make sense as a story
great video, only thing wrong is the album is “Dressed Up As Life” instead of “Dressed Up In Life”. Other than that, great job on the slides and good sound quality.
this song is so kool im tryin to learn the bass riff
no its about him being molested as a kid and then being all wierd for the rest of his life and dwelling on it and shit
i think its bout him being a homosexual
the big surprise- being gay
shadows- picked on for being gay
living in denial- not wanting to say the truth
confused, but unllijke you… he is gay and cant help it
secret hes sure to keep- being gay
woman down the street- nuff said
he needs closeure- he wants to guarantee he is and he mebers looking like that kid as a
child. I think he commits suicide coz he cant accept his homosexuality, and his parents didnt either. He trned to drugs to escpit etc
love the bass riff
She doesn’t use any distortion. =] She has a Warwick Streamer Stage 1 4 string bass, and she uses all ampeg amps and heads.
does ne1 no what bas overdrive/distortion pedal emma uses??? wud appreciate it very much
hey is a coincidence that sick puppies is an australian band, called this song HOWARD’s tale and at the time john HOWARD was the prime minister of australia?
not that hard. cheers on learning it. hint: it’s in drop C, as are all their other songs on the current record.
I love the bass part, I’m gonna learn it.
ya the first time i was listening to this i was in class and i almost out loud gasped at the end it totally creeped me out. he needs closure?!
