Dog Playing With Kittens

in Kittens

My dog Brian playing with some kittens. He likes to pick them up and carry them away to play with. He's not mean, he just doesn't understand that he shouldn't play with something so much smaller than him.

@Onsube
Actually he’s right, I’ve researched animal shelter gas chambers before too. It’s depressing as hell. I keep all my kittens though or give them to loving homes of people I know and trust. And as soon as I can get a decent freaking job I’m gonna neuter them all :)

@WinterHaven Please stop trolling, nobody believes your fantasy bullshit.

OMG Brian from Family Guy hahahahaha

IndigoCat17 June 13, 2010 at 4:51 pm

OMg thats adorable!!!

WinterHaven June 13, 2010 at 5:36 pm

@Onsube That’s bullshit. They fill those chambers full of animals to max and it takes about 20 to 30 minutes for them to die, screaming in terror, choking, and vomiting, even drowning in their own vomit.

WinterHaven June 13, 2010 at 6:13 pm

@Onsube Usually a gas chamber session lasts 20 to 30 minutes long. Not all of them die. Actually it’s also a fact that the elderly and pregnant animals don’t die on the first gassing. Sometimes it takes two, even three “sessions” and many writhe in agony as they choke to death on their own vomit. Yeah sounds like a real painless death to me!

WinterHaven June 13, 2010 at 6:49 pm

@Onsube And the Nazi concentration camp victims died painlessly too. That’s why they scream – because the gas feels good. I’ve heard animals scream in agony when the gas is turned on. But I guess to a sadist that would be a good thing.

Onsube June 13, 2010 at 6:54 pm

@WinterHaven It’s not “fact”. Feel free to keep pretending it is in your paranoid, fantastical delusions, though.

Though, gas chambers are really an ethical way to euthanize animals – they don’t even know they’re suffocating, since they’re just breathing inert air. They lose consciousness within a few breaths.

A few kittens go to homes of people I know too.

DarkElfMairead June 13, 2010 at 7:49 pm

@WinterHaven
I keep all my cats. At the moment I can’t afford to spay or neuter and there’s few cheap options out here. I have $25k in student loans and a part time job for minimum wage. I’m working on it.

WinterHaven: You’re assuming I have the ability, the facilities and the money to have and take care of animals. You really need to think more before you open your mouth.

shuppet88 June 13, 2010 at 8:20 pm

Actually, I disagree with your description of this video. I think your dog is probably very kind to little animals, and he does understand how to play with them. A dog that is trained well won’t harm smaller animals, and he will actually be very protective of them. Your dog looks like he knows exactly how to handle the kittens. Plus this video is super cute…:)

SkaRocksYea June 13, 2010 at 8:53 pm

Wonderful video! Made me smile. :)

WinterHaven June 13, 2010 at 9:46 pm

@FireThunderTV Since you were the one who was preaching “their right to live” why don’t you adopt a few dozen kittens so they may enjoy their right to live. Just to to the dog pound – they have TONS of cats and kittens on DEATH ROW and they will be killed. Many municipalities still use gas chambers, and Utah shoots them with bullets, even run them over with their trucks when they are out of bullets. FACT!

FireThunderTV June 13, 2010 at 10:43 pm

WinterHaven: I never said a word about spaying or neutering. All of my cats I had in the past were spayed or neutered. I don’t have any animals right now.

WinterHaven June 13, 2010 at 11:06 pm

Seeing so many kittens is pure irresponsibility. And most of them are going to end up dead in the dog pound, or if you put in free to good home ads, maybe even in the belly of someone’s pet snake. SPAY/NEUTER.

WinterHaven June 13, 2010 at 11:35 pm

@FireThunderTV People who do NOT spay/neuter are cruel. California spent a half billion dollars running animal control in just one year (2009) killing a half million companion animals – and you are calling me cruel? People like you don’t get it-virtually ALL kittens end up there. Right to live? By being born chances are they will end up in the pound, or sold for vivisection (which pounds do), and if you put a “free to good home” they may even end up in the belly of someone’s pet snake.

FireThunderTV June 13, 2010 at 11:41 pm

WinterHaven: Wow, I’m sure glad your parents didn’t treat you that way! That’s really cruel that you just treated those animals (who had a right to live just like you do) like they are a disposable piece of garbage! You really made those cats day, didn’t you? They didn’t even have a say in the matter if they wanted to live or not. You just took it upon yourself to kill them. How nice!

FireThunderTV June 14, 2010 at 12:29 am

I’m so sorry your cat was hit by a car. That’s sooo sad. I hate that! I don’t like when animals get hurt. My first cat was run over by a car too when I was like 9 years old I think. And then later on, one of my stupid cruel neighbors STOLE my cat. He never came back, and it was right after he had surgery and needed medicine. Don’t know where my cat went. The stupid guy probably took him far away and dropped him off somewhere. People are so dang freekin cruel.

WinterHaven June 14, 2010 at 12:41 am

My best friend found this stray cat with kittens and didn’t know what to do. I took the kittens to my vet and had them destroyed with lethal injection. It sounds cruel, but it’s far better to do that than let them dog pound gas them to death. Where I live they gas pets to death.

WinterHaven June 14, 2010 at 12:59 am

And when are you going to take them to the dog pound? 99% of all kittens born WILL DIE because there aren’t enough homes for them. I know you will delete this and you don’t want to hear it, but it’s the truth. SPAY/NEUTER saves lives.
