@phatcartoon thanks for the info :)

phatcartoon September 5, 2010 at 10:18 pm

@taylordesignsllc go to this company’s website. Winship Designs. Everything you need is there. Everyone has a different opinions on torches, but I personally a big fan of Glass Torch Technologies. . . . . Good luck

I digg your vid. I was wondering if maybe you had the time you could send me some links as to how to get started blowing glass. I live in Knoxville, Tn and there isn’t anything like this around my area. I’ve never done this before and would like to know where you buy your materials from and how to color the glass….Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again for your vid, I liked it a lot. Hope to hear from you man…….. (waiting in anticipation)

stallsworth44 September 6, 2010 at 12:22 am

no wat u need to do is figger a way to do the same thing but plexy-glass tubes!!

doughboy3251 September 6, 2010 at 12:45 am

is he using pre-formed tubes or something?

phredbhang September 6, 2010 at 12:49 am

Yeah, that’s about the right price for doing small to medium pieces. For larger pieces you’ll need a big torch like DJ Mitten’s here and an annealer (the silver box behind him while he’s working the glass). Glass itself is cheap, and so is the gas for the torch. Oh, and a whole lot of practice. Glass is an awesome hobby, I love it.
