So what? there are many qualities aside from being gay that is represented by as much or less. You talking naturally? if you check the history of humanity you will be amazed how “unnatural” human being is. I’m curious, though, about why you didn’t mention that it was the whole lgbt gang that was fighting back, that trans people were there too. Is it just b/c Johnson was referencing gay people?
Also, I agree that Stonewall is usually seen as the start of the gay rights movement, but have you looked into Cooper’s, Dewey’s, or most importantly Compton’s? They pre-date it a bit and are just as rad.
