OMG…this is so sad, i hate when people blame the breed instead of owner. These dogs are amazing pets, loyal companions and its sad people view them the way they do

This photo literally brought tears to my eyes. This is a very sad situation for these wonderful dog’s.
Thank you for posting this. I hope many reasonable people see it and understand just how foolish and disgusting breed bans are. Chances are that those people who hate the American Pit Bull Terrier will cheer and dance for joy at this image of so much senseless death, but maybe not. The peoples’ blindness can only last for so long.
This was a hard series of pictures to post, much less view. I decided the message was greater than my mere feelings. Although I will keep the photographer’s name anonymous, this person has taken a bold and brave step to show the true horror of discrimination and ignorance.

When I see things like this I cannot believe that there is a God. If there is then it proves to me that he/she/it does not micro-manage anything. I am in shock and I am going to go wrap my arms around my Bryn!
Military Housing Pet Confiscation and Death
I am writing with respect to the discrimination, abuse, and death caused by “pet policies” being enforced on military bases across the United States.
Although I am not connected to the military, except to work in customer service serving them, I am aware first hand of the horrific seizures and killing of beloved family pets from our military families. I have heard from both the victims, and the military police enforcing the bases policies.
At an Army base the MP’s have gone to the living quarters of military families and taken their dogs (in the same brutality manner as the Gestapo) from the crying and wailing mother and children who’s father is serving our country in Iraq and Afghanistan. Even grandparents caring for their military grandchildren have experienced this disgraceful conduct by our government. All this occurs simply because of the breed of the dog. This discrimination is unacceptable and disgraceful and must be stopped immediately.
And please, let’s not forget, the patriotic soldier who comes home and his best friend has been seized and killed for no reason by his employer, the United States of America. Man’s best friend is the best therapy in the world and can not be substituted. Watch this video of a banned breed of dog greeting a service member that has just returned from deployment.
These abused families and military personal can not even relocate from military base to base with a long term family member dog, as is required by their job regularly, without having their dog confiscated and euthanized immediately. Even if the dog fell under the grandfather clause of one military base, as soon as the family moves to another base there are no longer under the grandfather clause (if there is one there) because they are now new residents to the new base.
It is common knowledge to those in the military and those connected to them that military individuals & their families do not have rights, even though they fight and sacrifice to give US the rights they themselves can not enjoy. It’s time to restore the military family to a whole unit with the rights and dignity to keep their pet dog companions – making their families complete again under these shameful living circumstances.
Please, write to your Senators and Congressman letting them know this is an unacceptable way to treat our military soldiers and families, and nothing but pure discrimination.
This is absol;utely DISGUSTING! I would rather see that being a pile of politicians there instead. Pitbull bite stats are taken from the media, that is PURE FACT, that can be looked up by checking into insurance regulations regarding dog breeds. We all know the media is totally 100% accurate right? The media can only report on what is reported to them first. You want REAL tests? Look at the American Temperment Test Society. Any rating above 80% is considered good. Pitbull ratings keep climbing and are now up and are now over 85%. They have NEVER been below 80%. Many of the dogs that are considered good with children, have the lowest ratings, some down as far as 60%.
The past week my family and I have had trouble planning our vacation. For one no boarding kennels will take pits around here, and hardly any lodging will accept them. Some due to insurance most becuase they classify them as people killers. We finally found a place that said pitbulls are MORE then welcome(it helps if the owner or manager is a pitbull owner). WE made it VERY clear in no uncertain terms whatsoever, to the places that refused to accept our pit(who runs from other dogs, and is ALWAYS on an anti pull harness), that because of their position we would NEVER EVER do business with them or their affiliates whatsoever, as long as this draconian policy based upon popular tripe is in effect, and our reviews and ratings would be the lowest possible.
Word of mouth advertising can be a B|TCH! For those who think pitbulls are people killers, even if you have a PHD in something, you need to go see a proctologist to have them find your head, as it’s buried somewhere. Perhaps you should have the media moguls rearends checked too, since that’s another possibility for the location of your head. Pitbulls are not and have never been people killers, they have been bread since the inception of the breed to be NON human aggressive. Animal aggressive? Yes, since they were used for hunting, and working. For this very reason pitbulls generally make more guard dogs. Do some REAL research before banning a breed. Seeing all those innocent pits laying there, many of them I am sure are missed dearly by many a small child, makes my heart hurt, more then it has in a LONG time, and that’s a feeling I hoped I would never feel again. Yes human aggressive dogs need to be culled(unless it’s a guard dog as what is the use of a guard dog who licks everyone), but that can’t be determined by breed, only by individual dog.
