Well desdinova...funny you should mention Frerose Kennels.
The breeder of these puppies had ties to the old Frerose! They were some very beautiful Akitas!
These beauties were bred by my own "Tamarlane's Hana-Ogi", and the most famous "Tamarlane's Veni Vici Vidi", also known as "Victor" before he went to England to become their first Best In Show Champion in the UK! His professional Handler was the well-known Rusty Short. I still trust their good judgement.

You're welcome! I now live in South Carolina, near the North Carolina border. I have done a little research and found a place called "Frerose Kennel" near Columbia, SC. It's actually in the Akita book I recently bought. They apparently have Akitas and Shibas! But, I thought there must be more, I'm no good at finding things on the internet (computer illiterate!).
I want to make sure the place we buy them from is reputable and the puppies are VERY WELL taken care of! Thank YOU for the link and all that you do! Animal rights is my passion and it's an HONOR to have people like you on this Earth! All the best for you and yours! Humbly yours, Melissa

Where do you live?
My personal list of breeders is very short these days, but I still belong to the Akita Club of America where breeders are required to follow strict breeding policies. (That helps to eliminate the need for rescue.)

Your babies are just gorgeous!!!!!! Next year we intend to get an Akita as well as a Shiba. But, we don't know of any places to get them near where we live...do you guys know where Akita or Shiba breeders might be near my area? Please e-mail me if you can help. Our house is not complete without dogs!!!!

I never saw my akita as a puppy, either So I just love looking at puppy photos like this one. These guys are like little tanks all in a row!
