i was wondering if anyone would notice

she was so jumpy after i put in the colored contacts that there was no way she would let me dye her fur also. all art is a compromise.

a couple of days ago, while walking down houston street, i first saw a girl with bright pink hair, and then her dog. there at the end of the leash was a puppy that would’ve had different shades of brownish fur, but now where the lighter-colored fur would’ve been were patches of dark blue — a brown & blue dog (it just goes to show that sometimes you comprise the dog for the art…) of course, i immediately thought of this photo. too bad i didn’t my camera on me at the time.
