The problem with Chicago hot dogs is that the buns are never large enough to hold all the stuff they come with. Some places cheat by chopping all the ingredients into little pieces and spreading that on the hot dog, but it’s not the same.

God I wish Australians made decent hotdogs! The closest we get is a bratwurst and sauerkraut sometimes and even then it’s rare to find one done well.

UPDATE! I had one! We have a local hot dog shop now here in Lancaster, PA. Its called Hot Diggity Dog and they have about 10 different dogs on their menu. One being the Chicago Dog. DELICIOUS! And don’t worry…they are authentic…straight from Chicago!
