billion times better than the original :-) wonderful DoF! and sorry about your broken lens!

luvi April 16, 2010 at 4:15 am

Thanks Predi! :)
Perhaps my D70 is Ok, but my 18-70 needs a revision… this is the best time to buy a 10-20 :)

Intetersting shot. Nice DOF to isolate the brick with the cat footprints.

This is surprisingly interesting to look at. I was engaged for quite a while looking at it.

Interesting shot, though I wish the cat prints were lower in the frame.

nice DOF. It sort of leads directly to the foot print.

Probabilmente l’inquadratura è migliore, ma come colore mi piaceva di più l’altra. Bellissimo scatto comunque.

luvi April 16, 2010 at 1:27 pm

Forse, effettivamente, sull’altra avevo esagerato un po con il contrasto.. questa è reale ;)
Grazie!

The Shallow DOF is lovely and is why I gave a high technical mark to make it a 5 I’d have liked a little more contrast and got rid of the border. This didn’t grab my attention at all straight away but after reading the description and noticing the footprints it did grow on me. I scored fairly low on acheives aim because I think the aim was to show the cat footprints and I didn’t notice them at all until i read the description, this is why my opinion score isn’t too high either.

Interesting find, to discover those little paw prints. IMHO I would have liked to concentrate more on the subject brick, and have less of the large brick (lower right) in the picture.

Interesting shot!
But overall I feel first brick (as willie pointedout) is dominating the geometircal symmetries of pic.

Deliziosa… anche perché mi ricorda una casa di Trastevere con i pavimenti in cotto e un gatto che ci abitava!
Ora il gatto si è trasferito a Monteverde e sul pavimento ha il parquet…
